Phi (Φ) is the 21st letter in the greek alphabet, however, it is used in many different facets; in math, science and engineering. There are two reasons that we chose Phi as the name of our company:
1. Within structural engineering Phi is a material reduction safety factor. Like this factor we consider ourselves a safety factor for you, our clients. We look out for the best interests of our clients throughout the life cycle of their projects.
2. Phi is also, the symbol used for the golden ratio. The golden ratio or the “rule of thirds” is found in nature, art and science; it is INTEGRATED in the world that we know, just as we INTEGRATE with you, our clients, and the project team.
An Owner’s Project Manager (OPM) is an invaluable asset to a project Owner. They are one of the keys to a project running smoothly and ensuring Conditions of Satisfaction are met.
An OPM reports directly to the Owner acting only on their direction and in their best interest. As an expert in the design, construction and contracting industry they provide unbiased advice through the life cycle of the project.
Ultimately, the OPM is a trusted advisor of the Owner to ensure the project is kept on-time and on-budget.
There are many reasons to hire an OPM, above all else, they will bring you a sense of comfort and confidence in the project execution. Hiring an OPM for your project can save you hundreds of thousands of dollars, and that is after paying the contract to the OPM firm.
Most Owners don’t have the capacity in-house to run a project, nor do they have the expertise. By hiring an OPM you will have someone working strictly in your best interest potentially saving you money by making the right decisions in a timely fashion.
